"Brown University is amazing!"
"Brown University is an excellent institution that provides a positive environment for both learning and career development!"
"Great student job. A very collegial place of work. The staff is very dedicated to supporting the research of graduate students, faculty, and institutions. As a student, my supervisor allowed me to make a flexible schedule and learn from other departments. Albeit sometimes stressful at times, most of the staff seemed happy with their jobs and participated in many department activities like puzzles, pie contests, and scavenger hunts."
"Ready to move out of a longstanding position in academia and apply what I have formally learned - my PhD experience was unique in a research group of post professionals in the context of a human clinical trial and felt much like an academic startup. I gravitate towards collaborative, interdisciplinary and interactive fields, subject matter and work environments and while my background is diverse, the skills are transferable to industry."
"I've enjoyed my time working here, and I'd recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about using robotics to better the lives of people."
"As a Ph.D. graduate student, I had didactic classes for the first year and a half to learn the basic foundations of molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry. I TA'd for one semester, and then conducted research in the department of chemistry for my remaining time. Sometimes it was a lot to juggle, but that's the nature of the job. My fellow classmates and peers were some of the best people I've ever met."
"Brown is a great place to work."
"University as a whole is excellent. Experience can vary depending on department. Pay is lower than normal and system for raises is extremely restrictive. However benefits and work/life balance cannot be beat."
